Do you use a program like Poser or Daz to get your references?  Do you use a 3d program to get your props designed and place?  If you do the kudos to you.  Using all available tools for a job is just smart.  If you don't, then you mental library for figures and environments is outstanding.  I love the clean style of your painting.

For poses I use the plethora of stock photos that are available on DA, but I use them as ideas for poses mostly. If I come up with an interesting concept by myself, I use myself and a mirror as reference. I did try Poser yet the main issue for me is, again, the idea so it wasn't any help at all.

As for environments I recently started using Google Sketch-up. You can get some very interesting angles without wasting a ton of time on getting vanishing points just right and all that. It's like what a ruler is for an architect, I think.

These are all so good. The lineart is so well-shaped that the flat colours look clean and professional instead of just incomplete.

Very jealous!
